Libby Smith SOLD OUT at Village Shoes!

John Fluevog’s Libby Smith, who’s namesake survived a near-fatal tomahawk to the head and later became famous as a vigilante who helped protect the settlers of Montana, is officially SOLD OUT here at Village Shoes. For those of you that missed out on the mid-calf black and ivory faux-spat & button boot, never fear! John Fluevog’s got your back! The Libby Smith, pictured here on myself, is still available for purchase at!

And just in case you were wondering where I got the fabulous black and red dress, I’ll let you in on the amazing shop I discovered in Napa, California called Betty’s Girl Boutique. The owner Kim, who named the shop after her mother Betty, has a great eye for Vintage wear and the seamstress skills to make it work for you. Kim shortened and cropped the sleeves of the 1950’s house dress I am wearing. I loved it right off the rack, but the fit could have been better. To my surprise, Betty’s Girl offers free alterations on pre-paid purchases and even has them ready for you the next day! A couple of darts down the back and the fit was perfect – and at no extra charge! If you live near by or are going to be passing through Napa, make sure you have time to stop by Betty’s Girl Boutique, located at 1239 First Street, Napa, CA 94559.
